I'm Ramanee, a self taught bead weaver with a desire to create beautiful adornments that make every woman feel beautiful, powerful, and seen.

Creating has always been a part of my life, stemming from my upbringing in the deep Australian bush, harnessing a profound appreciation of the natural beauty that surrounds us all. I adore watching nature shed her skin and begin anew, the seasons rolling around year after year and the beauty within each revolution around the sun.

Beadwork was present as a child, watching my grandmother sewing her patchwork quilts, adorning them with tiny beads, sequins and lace, the rich patterns, textures and colours, wild and unappologetically unique. I started dabbling as a child, but truly found my passion during the pregnancy of my womb~mate, a beautiful boy that I carried for my cousin as a gestational surrogate. My hands felt restless, so i created some earrings that not only made me feel beautiful, but helped to curb that energy and anticipation of the unknown. Fast forward 8 years and here we are.

Creating with raw brass and glass beads is such a visceral experience, intuitive and fun. I am deeply honoured to have the space and support to continue creating in the way I feel, with no limitations.
